Sustainable Solutions Through Soil Recycling
Often when purchasing a new home, land, or re-doing an existing lot, poor soil content is a common factor in a wild or neglected landscape. Most East End landscapes sit on a grey clay bed layered with sand and, if you’re lucky, a thin layer of topsoil. As a part of proper site preparation, we have developed a tried and true method of soil screening. The existing top soil is processed on-site through our screening equipment wherein we remove rocks, roots, and debris while salvaging usable material. The organic kelp mix with rich compost is then added which establishes the land with a long-term foundation for a well-nourished and enduring landscape environment.
